Monthly Review - March 2023
March was a crazy month. If you support us on social media (and in this case you deserve a big "thank you" from all of us), you may already know that we have accomplished a huge milestone in the last few weeks. Indeed, we have completed the wing, a key part of our airplane UR-1.
This advancement represents a breakthrough for our company. First of all, because it is just inside it the innovation-core of the first Swiss fully-electric racing plane UR-1 and, of course, we are talking about its electrical energy system. So, now, we are closer than ever to see our first aircraft flying.
Meanwhile, our workshop has completed the lamination of the fuselage and the team has already cured it in the oven. In addition, part of our team has worked in the last months to take part in AERO Friedrichshafen show, one of the most important international general aviation fair, and we are proud to anticipate that those of you who will visit the exhibition will have the opportunity to see our racing aircraft almost completed.
Of course, all the advancements in our workshop are always supported by tests and inspections, so our engineering team has made a huge work in the last period. Regarding our future projects, the aerodynamic team is currently working on designing airfoil models of our first general aviation aircraft, the UG-2.
In conclusion, we are glad to welcome three new team members and we are pleased to present you below in this newsletter.
