Monthly Review - June / July 2023
With this newsletter, we are greeting you for a little while. Part of our team is already on vacation and many others will be in a few days. So, we have therefore decided to condense the two issues of our monthly review into one and to come back in August as usual.
Talking about what happened in the last period, the first good news of June regards our engineering team. Indeed, they have completed the preliminary design of our second prototype, the UG-2, in spite of the issues faced with the tail in May. Thanks to their remarkable and tireless work, we are now thrilled to show you some of the first renders of our second prototype.
In the meantime, in our workshop, our composite technicians are still working on the last details of the fuselage, one of the most challenging UR-1 components to manufacture, which is now in the static testing stage. In addition, part of the workshop team is now actively committed to carrying out several projects for our new lab Swiss' Carb.
Regarding marketing and sales, we have several news to communicate. Indeed, at the beginning of June, we have celebrated the 10th anniversary of Innovaud by taking part in their event as one of the most important startup of the Canton Vaud, a remarkable recognition we have gladly welcomed.
In addition, our team has also re-styled a bit our website by adding new image of UG-2 in the homepage, by creating a new Products page and a new Contact page.
Then, from June 19th to 25th, the sales and marketing team had the privilege to attend the Paris Air Show. We had the opportunity to take part in this international renowned show with a very tiny stand, which has however accomplished its mission by welcoming lots of enthusiastic visitors, we would like to thank for their interest in our projects. Once again, our flight simulator has attracted so many people interested in testing their abilities in virtually piloting our racing prototype, the UR-1. Generally speaking, attending this fair was a key experience for us as we have also met lots of different players in aviation, from the largest companies to the startups, as we are. Every experience raises our awareness of having a pioneering approach in electric aviation.

Short Outlook
From July, our team will partially go on vacation, so we expect to slow down a bit our normal activities and to come back at 100% by August. However, we plan to carry out our projects with utmost effort.
